When you apply for admission to one of Avalon University’s programs, you will be asked by your Admissions Specialist “Why did YOU choose to apply to Avalon?”.

One recurring answer is that students choose to pursue Avalon because of the quality of our faculty and staff members. Avalon’s teaching faculty are passionate about imparting knowledge on the next generation of world changing medical professionals.

I appreciate how crucial knowledge is and how important it is to pass this to future generations.

Dr. Alaa along with Avalon Faculty counterparts, Dr. Reshma Fatteh and Dr. Iijoma Nwosu, recently took the next step in their educational development. These three standout members of Avalon’s staff recently completed the faculty development course, Essential Skills in Medical Education-Assessments (ESMEA). This course is aimed to further educate individuals who are currently involved with teaching in the health professions. This course aids these educators who want to gain insight into practical applications. It is also relevant to those who already have an interest in assessment and wish to gain a foundation in the theoretical underpinnings.

Avalon University strives to provide our students with top-notch teaching staff. Dr. Alaa, Dr. Reshma, and Dr. Nwosu are wonderful examples of the continued faculty development that takes place at Avalon.

When you apply to Avalon University, be ready to answer the question “Why did YOU choose to apply to Avalon?”. You already have the answer!
