CLEVELAND, Ohio, December 7, 2022 – Progressive Pipe Fabricators, a division of Shambaugh & Son, L.P., plans to open a 50,000 square-foot fabrication facility at 1433 Standard Ave. in Masury. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the company for tax credit assistance at its meeting today for the project that will add 75 new positions in the Northeast Ohio Region.

The new facility is necessary to support strong product demand. Progressive Pipe Fabricators will fabricate and deliver more than 20,000 individual sprinklers per week and have the capacity to ship more than one million pounds of fabricated sprinkler pipe per week.

“We couldn’t be more excited about this new facility,” said Rob Vincent, Shambaugh’s Chief Operating Officer, National Fire Protection. “By expanding our fabrication capabilities throughout the United States, our new shop will now serve a much larger geographic area. What’s even more exciting is that while we’re expanding our reach, we’re simultaneously bolstering our sustainability efforts by reducing fuel consumption and improving speed to market.”

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, JobsOhio, ODOD, and Team NEO collaborated with Progressive Pipe Fabricators, providing a variety of resources and insights to help bring the project to fruition.
