NOTICE OF PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATION FOR THE POSITION OF FIRE LIEUTENANT
Notice is hereby given that the Warren Municipal Service Commission will give a written, promotional, competitive examination for the position of Fire Lieutenant in the City of Warren's Fire Department. The examination will be given on
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2022, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at
Gibson Building
258 E Market Street, 3rd floor
Large Conference Room
Warren, Ohio 44481
Only those Firefighters presently serving in the Warren Fire Department who will have held the rank of Firefighter for at least SEVEN (7) YEARS before the date of the written examination shall be eligible and qualified to take this examination.
The passing grade for this written examination has been established at seventy percent (70%). There will be no assessment portion of the examination. No credit for seniority, experience, efficiency or any other reason shall be added to the applicant's written examination grade unless the applicant achieves at least the minimum passing grade of seventy (70%) without counting that extra credit.
Attached to this notice is a list of the suggested reference materials that have been approved by the Warren Municipal Civil Service Commission for this examination. This list may be subject to deletion, but no additions. Also attached to this notice is an application form for said examination.

The application process will close on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 4:00 pm.
No application for the examination will be accepted thereafter.
